Discover one of the world’s most visited cities on a day trip to Dubai that captures its modern triumphs and ancient charms. Our journey takes you on Sheikh Zayed Road, past towering skyscrapers and commercial hubs, to our first stop at Dubai Marina. Then, Palm Jumeirah, an architectural marvel and famous emblem where we pause at the Atlantis Hotel to take some spectacular shots. Venturing on towards the old quarter, we pass Jumeirah Beach Road with its royal palaces, exclusive residences, and leisure hotspots. Jumeirah Mosque is another must-see landmark, as well as the illustrious Zabeel district, and Zabeel Palace, home to His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Dubai Creek represents the historic heart of the city; trading began on this iconic waterway in the early 1900s. Today, it offers a fascinating link between past and present with splendid skyline views. Close by is Al Fahidi Fort, built in the late 18th century to defend against invasion and now housing the Dubai Museum, which reveals the city’s past as a pearl diving and trading hub. We cross the creek on a traditional abra (water taxi) for an antiquated shopping experience mingling with merchants at the bustling gold and spice souks. In direct contrast, we make our next stop at the impressive Dubai Mall, attracting more than 80 million visitors each year. Before driving back to Abu Dhabi, your adventure comes to an end at the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building standing over 828 metres high.
